Steganography got quite popular nowadays, as it represents the reliable technique of hiding secret messages, files, and any data within other files. SecretLayer allows even complete beginners to use steganography and hide files within images. It is a very easy-to-use application that can be used by anyone without any problem. Its interface comes with two modes, a wizard-based one meant for non-computer-savvy people, and an “expert” one, meant for advanced users, but even the expert one is quite straightforward, intuitive, and simple-to-use.

Visually, there will be no difference between the original photo and the one containing the hidden data. There will be only a difference in size, but few will even notice it in the first place, and no one will be able to determine its cause. Furthermore, SecretLayer supports JPG, PNG, BMP, and GIF images, and when you select an image its interface instantly displays how much hidden information that image can carry.

The Pro version of this powerful tool lets you add encryption to the hidden data, for an additional layer of protection. All the popular encryption algorithms are supported, including AES, Blowfish, and IDEA.

To sum it all up, SecretLayer is a really handy tool that offers a both reliable and convenient method of storing and transferring data hidden within images, in a completely safe manner.
